Connecting Social Accounts

Before publishing, connect your social media accounts:
  1. Go to your projects page
  2. Click on the clip you want to publish
  3. Click “Export”
  4. Click “Publish on Social”
  5. Connect your social accounts (LinkedIn, Twitter/X, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook)
You only need to connect accounts once—they’ll remain connected for future posts.

Connect multiple accounts to publish the same clip across all your platforms.

Publishing a Clip

To publish your clip:
  1. Click on the clip from your projects page
  2. Click “Export”
  3. Click “Publish on Social”
  4. Select which platform(s) to publish to
  5. Review the AI-generated caption
  6. Choose to publish now or schedule for later

Publish Now

To post immediately:
  1. Ensure “Now” is selected as the publish time
  2. Review your caption (edit if needed)
  3. Click “Publish Post”
Your clip will post to your selected platform(s) immediately.

Schedule for Later

To schedule your post:
  1. Click “Later” instead of “Now”
  2. Choose your desired date and time
  3. Review your caption (edit if needed)
  4. Click “Schedule”
Your clip will automatically post at the scheduled time.

Platform-Specific Captions

Flowjin automatically generates different captions optimized for each platform: LinkedIn: Professional tone, industry-relevant hashtags Twitter/X: Concise, engaging, trending hashtags YouTube: Detailed descriptions, keyword-optimized Instagram: Visual-focused, emoji-rich, trending hashtags Facebook: Conversational, community-focused Each caption is tailored to perform best on its specific platform.

Editing Captions

To customize the AI-generated caption:
  1. Click in the caption field
  2. Edit the text as desired
  3. Add or remove hashtags
  4. Adjust tone or messaging
  5. Proceed to publish or schedule
The AI provides a strong starting point, but you can always customize.

Tracking Your Posts

View all your published and scheduled content in the Activity tab:
  • See which clips have been posted
  • View which platforms they were posted to
  • Check scheduled posts
  • Monitor publishing status
This is especially useful when managing multiple social accounts or team members.

Publishing to Multiple Platforms

To post the same clip to multiple accounts:
  1. Connect all desired social accounts
  2. Select the clip
  3. Click “Publish on Social”
  4. Choose all platforms you want to post to
  5. Review each platform’s specific caption
  6. Publish or schedule
