Create professional animated titles that smoothly appear at the beginning of your clips and disappear after a few seconds, adding polish and visual interest.

How it works

Animated titles grab attention at the start of your clips and set the tone for your content. They appear with smooth entrance animations and disappear gracefully after a few seconds.

Creating an Animated Title

To add a title at the beginning of your clip:
  1. Click “Text Layers” in the menu
  2. Choose a preset style (e.g., “Why Y Came Like Floating”)
  3. Position the title on your frame
  4. Resize as needed to make it prominent
Your title text is now on the canvas, ready for animation.

Setting Title Duration

Control how long your title appears:
  1. Look at the title layer in the timeline
  2. Drag the edges to adjust duration
  3. Typical duration: 3-10 seconds (default may be 21 seconds)
  4. Shorter durations (3-5 seconds) work well for punchy intros
  5. Longer durations (7-10 seconds) suit more detailed titles
The title will only appear during the time span you set in the timeline.

Adding Entrance Animations

Make your title appear smoothly:
  1. Click on the title layer in the timeline
  2. Click “Animation”
  3. Select an entrance animation (e.g., “Slide”)
  4. Choose the direction (left to right, top to bottom, etc.)
The slide animation is popular for professional-looking intros.

Adding Exit Animations

Make your title disappear gracefully:
  1. In the Animation menu, scroll to exit animations
  2. Select how you want the title to leave (fade out, slide out, etc.)
  3. Adjust direction if applicable
Smooth exits prevent jarring transitions when the title disappears.

Animation Direction Options

Customize how animations move:
  • Left to right: Classic, easy to follow
  • Right to left: Alternative flow
  • Top to bottom: Bold entrance
  • Bottom to top: Rising effect
Choose directions that complement your content and feel natural.

Tips for Effective Titles

  • Keep text short and impactful (3-7 words)
  • Use high-contrast colors for readability
  • Position titles where they don’t cover key content
  • Match animation style to your brand personality
