Skip to main contentCorrect any transcription errors or spelling mistakes in your captions to ensure your clips look professional and accurate.
How it works
Flowjin’s transcription is highly accurate, but you may occasionally need to correct brand names, technical terms, or misspelled words in your captions.
Editing a Word
To fix spelling mistakes:
- Click on the word in the transcript
- Click “Edit”
- Type the correct spelling
- Click the X button to confirm
The corrected word will appear in your captions.
Merging Words
If a single word was transcribed as two separate words (like “Flow jin” instead of “Flowjin”):
- Click on the second word
- Click “Hide Caption” to remove it from view
- Click on the first word
- Click “Edit” and type the complete word correctly
- Click the X button to confirm
This merges the words into one correctly spelled caption.
Hiding Captions for Specific Words
To hide captions for any word while keeping the audio:
- Click on the word in the transcript
- Select “Hide Caption”
The word will still be heard in the audio but won’t appear in the captions. This is useful for removing filler words or cleaning up your visual presentation.
