# How to Generate Clips

Transform your long-form video and audio content into social media clips in minutes. Flowjin's AI automatically identifies the best moments and creates ready-to-post clips.

## Getting Started

Visit flowjin.com and sign up for an account. After signing up, you'll land on your dashboard where you can begin creating clips.

## Step 1: Import Your Content

Upload your video or audio files to Flowjin. We support multiple import sources—check our documentation for the complete list of supported formats and platforms.

To upload:

1. Click on the import or upload option
2. Select your file
3. Wait for the upload to complete

Your content is now ready for AI clipping.

## Step 2: Configure AI Clipping Settings

Once your content is uploaded, click on the project to access the clipping menu.

### Language Selection

Set the language of your content (e.g., English) so the AI can accurately transcribe and analyze it.

### Clip Length

Choose your preferred clip duration:

* **Default setting**: Works well for most content
* **Up to 3 minutes**: Select this for longer, more detailed clips

The AI uses this setting as a guide when identifying clip-worthy moments.

### Timeframe Processing (Save Credits)

Trim sections you don't want processed to save AI credits:
