## Adding Shapes

Shapes are perfect for covering unwanted elements like Zoom timers or adding color blocks behind captions.

To add a shape:

1. Click "Shape" in the right-side menu
2. Select your shape
3. Resize and position it on the frame
4. Drag it across the timeline to span the entire video duration

**Pro tip:** Use shapes to hide Zoom timers, clean up your frame, or add visual interest behind captions.

## Adding Custom Frames

Custom frames add color and visual interest to your clips. Create frames in tools like Canva, then add them to Flowjin:

1. Upload your custom frame image
2. Click "Center to Canvas" to position it
3. Click "Cover Canvas" to apply it properly
4. Extend it across the timeline

Frames help brand your content and make clips more visually appealing.

## Adding Logos

Keep your branding consistent by adding your logo:

1. Select your logo from uploaded assets
2. Position it where desired (typically corner placement)
3. Extend it across the entire timeline

Your logo will appear throughout the clip, reinforcing your brand presence.

## AI-Generated B-Roll

Let AI automatically find and add relevant footage to your clips:

1. Click "Create B-Roll Videos"
2. The AI analyzes your content and adds appropriate footage
3. Review the added B-roll clips

To customize B-roll animations:

1. Click on any B-roll footage
2. Click "Animation"
3. Select fade in and fade out effects
4. Apply settings to all B-roll clips at once

AI B-roll makes your clips more dynamic and visually engaging without manual work.

## Manual B-Roll

Add specific footage at exact moments:

1. Find the moment in your transcript where you want B-roll
2. Click to position the playhead at that point
3. Click "Video" in the side panel
4. Search for relevant footage (e.g., "camera", "laptop")
5. Drag and resize the footage as needed

Manual B-roll gives you complete creative control over visual storytelling.

## Animated Titles

Create eye-catching intros with animated titles:

1. Click "Text Layers" and choose a preset style
2. Position and resize your title
3. Adjust the duration in the timeline (e.g., 21 seconds)
4. Click "Animation" and select entrance effects (slide, fade, etc.)
5. Choose animation direction (left to right, etc.)
6. Add exit animations for smooth transitions

Animated titles grab attention and set the tone for your content.

## Lower Thirds

Add professional speaker information when new people appear:

1. Position playhead when the speaker first appears
2. Click "Text Layers" and choose a preset
3. Enter the speaker's name
4. Add a second text layer for their title/role
5. Align and position the text (typically lower left or right)
6. Set duration (typically 5-10 seconds)
7. Add slide-in entrance animation
8. Add fade-out exit animation

Lower thirds add professional polish and help viewers identify speakers.

## Working with Animations

Animations make videos more engaging and dynamic. The following layers support animations:

* Text layers

### Adding Animations

To animate any supported layer:

1. Click the layer in the timeline
2. Click "Animation"
3. Select entrance (in) animation

### Animation Settings

Each animation type has customizable settings:

* **Timing**: Adjust when the animation starts

Pay attention to these details for polished, professional-looking videos.
